CHARITY EVENT: AUGUST 2021

​I had the opportunity to use my video production skills to document a special event at the Vision in Action Mental Health Sanctuary in Juarez, Mexico. Vision in Action is a non-profit organization that provides care and treatment to people with mental disorders living in the streets of Juarez. Once a month, volunteers from the US and Mexico help the staff to prepare and share hot dogs with the patients at this mental health facility. I hope that the video I produced conveys how special “Hot Dog Day” at the mental health sanctuary is for both residents and volunteers. More importantly, I hope that you see humanity in the residents of the facility and how critical the work of the founder, Pastor Jose Antonio Galvan is to this vulnerable population.
